Since 1967, the Original Terlingua International Chili Cook-Off has been the “granddaddy” of all chili cook-offs — a Texas tradition raising funds for ALS and the Terlingua community.

🔥 Big news! The 37th Annual Bob Roberts Memorial BBQ Cook-Off is set for Friday, October 31, 2025 in Terlingua, Texas as part of the legendary Original Terlingua International Chili Championship weekend. This year we are guaranteeing a $5,000 BBQ payout, and we want YOU to join the fun!

OTICCC is deeply saddened to share the passing of Jeffrey Nicholas Johnson, a beloved supporter of the Terlingua Chili Cookoff. Jeffrey planned to volunteer this year, and in his memory, his family has requested donations to OTICCC to support the fight against ALS.
